What is Global Sunday?

World Christian Broadcasting's Global Sunday 2017 will be on October 29th.  This is the day individuals and churches are encouraged to offer a time of prayer and to give a special contribution for the mission work being done by World Christian Broadcasting.  In 2016, over 135 congregations in 32 states participated and made the first Global Sunday very effective.

World Christian Broadcasting exists so that people in places best served by broadcast media become aware of the Good News of Jesus Christ and want to know more.
— Our Mission

From radio antennas in Anchor Point, Alaska and Madagascar, 35 hours of programming cover the entire world with the gospel of Jesus Christ every day.  Programs in English, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Arabic and English for Africa are sent out every day.  The 2017 Global Sunday contribution will help provide daily radio coverage to the entire world.

The lighted areas in the map above show the extent of internet use the world over.  While WCB uses the internet, we realize that less than 20% of the world's population has access.  By piercing the darkness and broadcasting to the dark areas, as well as the lighted areas, World Christian Broadcasting has the potential to reach 3 billion radio listeners at any given moment of the day.  The world is listening.
